Thanksgiving Week

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving week! We headed to Boise on Monday after Abigale's school and dance and spent three days there with friends and then spent Thanksgiving and the rest of the weekend in Pocatello with family. It was so perfect to spend time with friends and family but it was a little weird because last Thanksgiving we were living in Boise and went to Utah for the holiday and this year we live in Utah and traveled to Boise. We are happy to say that our house wasn't flooded when we got home this time :).
This guy was happy to be in Boise. We stayed at my parents condo so it was nice to have our own place to sleep but spent the days with our friends. Abigale really wanted to go to Monkey Bizness- a bounce house- and had been talking about it all week so it was one of our first stops.

This is Abigale helping Lydia. They are so cute together. He was having fun. I had to take this picture because I remember taking Lydia's picture on this same toy when she was Ryan's age. It was a little deja vu! One of the many reasons we came to visit was this little sweet girl! She was born in August and we were finally able to meet her. Ashlyn is a miracle baby. At her 20 week ultrasound, Holly found out that her baby had a cleft lip and possibly a cleft palate. It was pretty devastating for Holly and Jace especially because they didnt know how bad it was or what to expect until she was born. Well, when Ashlyn was born her palate was totally fine and she had a minor cleft lip on one side. She has already had her surgery and looks beautiful! She is such a sweet baby! The other main reason for the visit is this girl- Maeley. She is Abigale's best friend and even though they see each other once or twice a year they are still best friends and pick up right where they left off! Love them! While we were in Boise we had to go to dinner with all of our friends (sorry the Forresters couldn't come to dinner but we met up later). We love these guys and when we all get together it is non stop laughter!

I wanted to take pictures of all of us but Jonathan just grabbed the camera and started taking pics so these are some candid shots.Aww The Waltmans!Haha classic JaceFinally a semi-normal picture of the girls- Holly, myself, and Natalie in downtown Boise. The day we left for Pocatello, the guys went golfing and Holly and I got to hang out all day and just talk (our favorite) and we made a yummy dinner for everyone. After dinner we made italian sodas and hot chocoloate for the kids. I am mad this picture is so blurry but it was so cute. All the kiddos with their drinksWe had such a great time in Boise and it was very sad to leave but we were excited to head to Pocatello for Thanksgiving.

Abigale "helping" Papa with the leaves. Carving the turkey Some of the food. Abigale was in charge of decorating the table and you can bet she took it very seriously!Digging in and yes that is my favorite jell-o salad. A must at Thanksgiving.

Apparently, these were the only pictures I took but we had a great weekend. I started a fun advent calendar with my mom (which I am still finishing), we visited my grandparents, did a little shopping (mostly online), and just played and had fun!
