Pumpkinland!

Abigale and I had a great time today with some friends at Pumpkinland in Orem. It was a beautiful day and a really cute place; it had a mini corn maze, playground, animals, spook alley,etc. Although Abigale was a little young for most of the activities, we had a great time.

Still Not Walking

So Abigale is going to be a year old next week, cray I know, and she is still not walking. She has been standing for the last month and she has taken a few steps but now everytime I try and get her to walk to me she hurries and sits down. At first, I was kind of happy that she was taking her time to walk but now I am definitely ready for her to be a little more independent. I took a few pictures of her standing/dancing and the last one is her serious face.

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

Happy 25th Birthday Jonathan! It is a little difficult to celebrate a birthday when you work and go to school all day, but we did the best we could. I got up early and make breakfast and decorated the kitchen before he had to be on campus at 8:00. We had a delicious cake at Jonathan's parents house over the weekend so I asked Jonathan what he wanted instead and said he had been craving his mom's orange rolls, so I called and got the recipe and spent all day making them. When Jonathan came home for lunch, we picked up a pizza and ate the orange rolls (which were delicious) and opened presents. Unfortunately, Jonathan had to work all night but my mom will be in town tomorrow so we will go on a date tomorrow night and continue the celebration.

Go Cougars!

This post is a little late but last week Jonathan's parents gave us their BYU football tickets. We decided to bundle up and risk getting rained on so that Abigale could attend her first game. Although I dont think she really saw the game (we were pretty far up) she did enjoy watching the interesting fans sitting around us. We only stayed for half the game and left when the rain started but we still had a lot of fun. Go Cougars!

Who does Abigale look like?

Early Birthday Present

Abigale is not quite 1 year old (she is 10 1/2 months) but her birthday present came a little early. She is very close to walking so we wanted to get her something to help her along. I found this awesome toy at Costco that helps kids walk and they can sit in it and be pushed around or they can push themselves. The best part about it, is that it makes a lot of noise and plays music, which is all Abigale needs to keep her happy. We thought that if we waited until her birthday she will hopefully already be walking and will not need it so the lucky girl got her present early and she loves it. We just hope she still loves it in a month and half!

NYC!

My sister got married in the New York temple on August 4th and we were lucky enough to be there! It was a little crazy trying to do the site seeing with a 8 month old while trying to help prepare for a wedding, but overall we had a wonderful time! One problem was that the battery for our camera died and we forgot to bring the charger so we only got a few photos. Enjoy the ones we got!

We took Abigale to FAO Shwartz (the toy store in the movie Big with the huge piano) where they had thousands of stuffed animals. Abigale loved all of them and I think she thought most of them were real, but I dont blame her! We also got a picture with the characters from Harry Potter- made of LEGOS!

My sister's reception was on a roof top overlooking the city. We could see the Statue of Liberty in one direction and the Empire State Building the other direction. This is Abigale sitting in front of the windows.

Jonathan, my brother Jeff, Abigale, and I went to Times Square on a Friday night. I love seeing all the lights and people but somehow Abigale managed to stay asleep through it all. That is all the pictures I have for now but I will get some of the wedding and post them later.
