Happy 6-month Birthday Abigale!

Abigale turned 6 months old today! To celebrate we took her to the doctor for her 6-month check up and she got a lot of shots, poor girl. We are such mean parents but she was a trooper and hardly cried and she was happy the rest of the day!

Abigale on her half birthday.

6-months means that she can eat solids! This is before she started when she was happy but I discovered that she does not like rice cereal or peas and she let me know it. Who can blame her?

Stay-at-home Mom at Last!!

Sorry it has been awhile since I have posted but I have been a little busy finishing classes, taking finals, finishing my portfolio, graduation, etc. Anyway, I am done!! I graduated on Friday so it is officially over and I can now enjoy staying at home and taking care of Abigale and Abigale can now enjoy a less hectic life. She will no longer have to attend college classes or be tossed around between mom and dad and the occasional babysitter. I do want to thank those occasional babysitters- we could never have done it without you! I also want to thank Jonathan for being so patient and willing to put off his schooling so that I could finish. You are the best and I love you so much!
It has already been quite the adjustment to stay at home all day but so far I am loving it!

Graduated! Jonathan's parents were nice enough to come to Provo for my graduation and his dad took a lot of great pictures so I will post them as soon as we get them but this will do for now. It was a wonderful day! We celebrated by going to California Pizza Kitchen and then Maverick frozen yogurt!

The Many Faces of Abigale

I took these pictures within seconds of each other to show how quickly Abigale can turn on the mad face. She cracks me up!

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. On Saturday, Downtown Provo had an Easter Shop Hop where children could get pictures with the Easter Bunny and get candy from all the stores downtown. It ran from 1-3 and of course Abigale decided to take a nap from 1-2:45 and we missed the candy, but she still got a picture with the Easter Bunny. Suprisingly, Abigale didn't cry and I think enjoyed being held by a big, furry thing or maybe it was because I wouldn't let her see who was holding her until after the picture was taken. Either way, she took some very cute pictures! That night, Jonathan and I dyed Easter Eggs and made treats while we watched The Ten Commandments. On Easter, Abigale wore her new pretty Easter dress to church and then we went to Jonathan's parents house and had a wonderful dinner and watched The Testaments. It was the perfect ending to a great Easter!

Abigale's Classroom Playdate

This school year has been an interesting one since Abigale entered the world. She frequently is lucky enough to attend my classes with me, thanks to my understanding teachers. Although I spend most of the class time out in the hall trying to get her to sleep, it has been a great experience. Two girls in my progam had baby girls a week before Abigale was born so when they all come to class, it is a party! Abigale is going to miss her first friends when we graduate in a few weeks but I think she has loved watching and learning from Gracie and Kjersten!

Conference Weekend in Idaho

It was my parents birthday's this month so we decided to get out of our routine in Provo and drive to Pocatello to see them. We spent the weekend watching conference, playing with Abigale, eating good food, catching up on homework thanks to our babysitters, relaxing, talking, and playing with Abigale some more. We topped off the great weekend by going to dinner with Jonathan's parents and grandparents at the Brick Oven. Abigale is so lucky to have such great grandparents who love her so much and live close by. Even though she is going through a stage of "stranger anxiety", we know that she loves them so much too!

Naptime during Conference. A big girl sitting up!

Sitting in between Grandma and Grandpa watching Conference (although, I am not sure how much Conference is actually being watched!)
